Its been a while

Sorry its been so long guys!!! Its just that I have been using Myspace more often then this since most ppl I talk to or that are in my family read that. I apologize.

Well, the long term sub thing is going great. I have 21 little 5 year olds, and I am there until February is over. I am so glad that I was able to get this oppurtunity. It is good practice, and I love my job!! My assistant rocks and the kids are all so cute. Some are royal pains at times, but they are 5 so thats to be expected.

Christmas was BUSY, but I had a good time nonetheless. I spent Xmas eve with my Dad and everyone, and Xmas day was at my moms, then Erics parents. I really liked having it more spread out. I didnt feel as stressed.

Speaking of stressed, I began the 2nd week of December working back in Men's Fragrances for xmas, on top of the half day job at school. I was working 60+ hours a week. I hated it. Not too mention I was WORN the hell out. My poor dog, Beau suffered as well since I wasnt home hardly at all. He is still doing wonderfully though. The week of xmas eve, I got really sick. I was dizzy, and lightheaded, etc. I took about two days off from Hechts. I taught everyday but Hechts was so not THAT important.

Eric and I are fabulous. We hit our 5 year anniversary on December 15th. And no, we are not engaged!! I am so tired of hearing that. "When you gettin married?". I mean really, what does it matter if I am happy as things are. Right now, I am not in a stable job (full time with benefits), I am still living at home with my mom. I mean, geez, lay off!!! Oh well, I am done venting now. I love Eric so much and we are happy and doing great!!! I couldnt be happier.

UGH....but some good news too

Well, this week has been HELL. I started feeling like hell on Tuesday last week and it just proceeded to get worse. Then, I finally took everyones advice and let mom take me to the doctor on Friday. I have a fever of 103.5 and I was severely dehydrated. Yeah, so that totally sucked ass. Two IVs, and a few hours later, I was sent home hoping to be over this shit soon. Today, which is now Wednesday, I am feeling better to an extent. I am eating finally. I am able to stand and sit up for longer periods of time. I was actually able to shower today as well. Big steps for me!
Beau was very supportive this week. He kept me company while I rested and slept right at my feet whether it was downstairs on the couch or up in my room. It was really nice.
This past weekend when Eric was home, he was very supportive too...well as much as he could be without risk of gettin sick himself. He works way to hard to let me get him sick....:).....He was still very sweet. It was nice to have him around for a couple days.
On a good note, I did get a job interview last Tuesday. And they called me and I went in today and I got a job!!! I am going to be working at KinderCare as a teacher in one of the Preschool rooms! I will not begin until all the paperwork is filed but that should only take about 1.5 weeks they said....so YAY! to that.

Beau the puppy

Well, so far the whole experience with Beau has been an adventure. As you can see from the posted pic on myspace, Beau is forced to wear a cone. This is because he was neutered this week and the stitches are soluble...meaning if he licks himself the stitches will go bye bye. Beau, since he is male, cannot resist licking/touching himself where the stitches are. Thus, he is in the cone ALOT!!! He is doing pretty well with the housebreaking, my goal is to, of course, crate train, but the crate is slow to arrive. I am gettin it from a friend or one from my sis so I have to wait til they are available. Its all good since he has his own room. He is really loving and follows me everywhere. I cannot wait til he is no longer under strict watch so he can be the puppy he is and play all the time.
He is already spoiled rotten by me and my mom and Dave. Its so cute. Mom and Dave LOVE him even though it was rough going at first gettin a dog. Its great so far and will continue to be I am sure. :) He does get me up really early.....between 6 and 8 usually. This morning he heard mom and dave get up around 5 so he was up and whining. Its all good I got him to go bad to sleep, but I had to let him join me on my bed to do it. Oh well, I wanted my extra sleep :). Mom and Dave left this morning for Florida....they wont be back til next Sun, the 2nd I think. So I will be all alone all week long. OH well.....
Well, he and I are gonna go for a walk I think. ttyl..

Hello All

Yes, I am writing again guys. I wrote in the other one about Bible School, but now I feel like ranting a bit. I have decided that finding a job is not a fun thing to do. Now, I know most ppl are sittin there thinkin, DUH Ashley what did you think it was gonna be like. To be honest, I hadnt really thought about it so much until recently. I have a job of course, but I am talkin about finding a teaching position in VB. Ugh, oh well, I am doing what I can to get in there and put in applications and such. We shall see I suppose.

I am trying to get some laundry done and get some things around the house done, but I have no motivation. Oddly enuff, the three kids I have in VBS wore me out today. (and its only MONDAY)......It looks kinda gloomy out and I am hoping that the weather will stay nice for the mornings this week so that my kids can go outside for their PE or whatever and run out some of their energy.

I am also noticing that I am really nosy recently. I know I know, I have always been nosy but lately its a bit weird. I am always checkin blogs and hoping that something has been updated and wondering what ppl are doing, yet I am not ambitious enuff to actually make the effort to find out. Weird. Ohk, I think I have ranted enuff now, maybe I will go scrapbook some more stuff.
